Athena (Copper)

Athena is a warm, radiant copper metallic staining glaze — the goddess of wisdom and crafts in a bottle. Part of the ARTiSTiC ViVATiONS METALLiC line, updated to the 2024 Formula 1 for smoother, more even coverage.

A workhorse copper: warm enough to feel handmade and vintage, bright enough to catch light and glow. Perfect for aged-metal effects, industrial-style furniture, and layering with darker metallics like Hades or Hephaestus for depth.

This is a concentrate — highly economical for large projects. Dilute with up to 20 parts water, alcohol, resin, water-based clear coat, or any clear catalyst and the copper still holds its warm shimmer.

Non-toxic, water-based, and self-leveling. Works on wood, glass, metal, pottery, and paper.
