Hephaestus (Teak Bronze)

Hephaestus (Teak Bronze) is a warm, earthy bronze metallic staining glaze — the 2024 Formula 1 evolution of one of the most beloved colors in the METALLiC line. Deeper, warmer, and more nuanced than the retired original.

The perfect bronze for reproducing weathered teak, aged copper, and antique metal finishes on furniture and accents. Beautiful over dark base coats and gorgeous on wood grain that's been sealed just enough to hold the pigment on the surface.

Delivered as a concentrate: economical for large restoration projects. Dilute with up to 20 parts water, alcohol, resin, water-based clear coat, or any clear catalyst and the warm bronze character stays intact.

Non-toxic, water-based, self-leveling. Full-strength for opaque bronze; dilute for a warm brown wash over natural wood. Also works on glass, metal, ceramics, and paper. If you loved the original Hephaestus, this is the current formula — smoother application, richer color.
